Marine hardware. A signature look.

The project at a glance
Selected past work / Photography, apparel & product launches
Water, polished metal, and black backgrounds gave Gemlux’s product photography a distinct look. Latches and hinges sit among bubbles; outrigger mounts carry beads of water. Peter’s shirt design takes the same hardware in another direction: a fish assembled entirely from Gemlux parts. Product launch pages, film, and aerial content were also part of the engagement.
Inside the experience

The latch and friction hinge are photographed against black, with bubbles framing the polished metal.
Water droplets, controlled highlights, and deep shadows bring the outrigger mount’s shape and finish into view.
Peter Legeza’s apparel illustration turns Gemlux’s own hardware into a billfish, carrying the product identity onto a shirt.

Original apparel design
Peter Legeza assembled a billfish from Gemlux’s own marine hardware. The parts become the illustration, and the illustration becomes the shirt.
